Due to the stresses of real life I have decided to drop this game. Both Cho and Hannah will be leaving.

I hope to see you all in other places in the RP world once I get myself back on track.

Where is everyone? I check every day and there doesn't seem to be much activity around here since we moved to IJ. There are spurts, but no overall plottage. I rarely see anyone online and it's hard to plot when I don't ever catch any of you around.

So, who's up for plottage. I'd like to come up with something more than random open posts.

Fifth year was turning out to be more work than she'd expected. Yes, she'd known that OWLs would be taxing. Yet, she'd had no idea the assignments would take up so much of her time. It wasn't that the work was any harder than the assignments given their prevoius years. The difference was that the professors expected more thourough answers to questions covering a larger span of topics at a vastly deeper level of understanding.

So now, she sat at a table back by the potions books looking through each index for the answers to various trivia questions. It wouldn't have been so bad if the questions were all on potions they'd studied. However, out of the 100 given, only 30 were from what they'd covered in class. The rest were based on potions they'd skipped over in previous texts, ones that were in the same category as those studied, and ones that they likely would cover futher in depth should they proceed to NEWT level.

I have a book that needs to be returned to the library before Madame Pince sends a search party for it. I'd take it myself but I doubt anyone in the library wants to be near me right now. I'd probably give them this crud I've caught. (Thanks Roger it's all your fault.)

Any volunteers to take it back for me?

As soon as Roger had asked her to the upcoming ball, Cho began to look for a mask. She found it rather funny that they were supposed to keep their identity a secret yet having a date was the norm for many of the individuals.

Looking through the catalog her mother had sent Cho saw a mask she liked. The only problem was that it left the bottom half of her face uncovered. With her slightly different skin tone such a mask would make it easy to tell who she was. Flipping a few more pages she found one that was quite similar and would cover her entire face.

She opted to get the purple from the mask she'd like by looking for the prefect dress. When she found it, again she worried about her skin tone giving away her identity. Looking over the accessories that went along with the dresses, she found a nice looking pair of long gloves and saw that they came in a purple that would match the dress she'd picked beautifully.

ooc: Yes, I know the other mask is really a pin, but we can pretend it's a full mask.

Normally, Cho found herbology to be quite plain and boring. So, when Professor Sprout announced that they'd be going to lake, the direct opposite direction as the green houses, Cho fought the urge to groan with dispair. Following with the rest of the class, Cho's curiousity was piqued when they headed around a tree and into a small alcove that she had never noticed before. There on top of the water, a seaweed type plant was growing.

Listening intently as the professor droned on, Cho perked up when she heard one of the uses for bladderwrack. The plant's main usage was for protection of traveling vessles. That included brooms. Knowing it had properties that could make her broom stronger and swifter caught her attention.

When Professor Sprout asked for volunteers to help tend the patch, for once, Cho eagerly volunteered to take on the extra work. Besides, everyone knew that Professor Sprout tended to let those who worked hard with particular specimins to reap some of the harvest for themselves as the plants matured. Cho was certain that access to such a plant could only help the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. After all, they could easily research and determine how to brew the best protection and speed potions.

I feel like I've been stuck in the library for weeks. Mid-year O.W.L. essays are complete torture. The professors have obviously lost their minds.

I need to get some fresh air. I'm going flying. Anyone care to join me?
